To celebrate her new F&F collection, Abbey Clancy tells Stylist about her tips for styling denim, her latest fashion buys and the unforgettable style moments behind her effortless, everyday wardrobe staples.

Abbey Clancy knows a thing or two about style. Fronting countless magazine covers, she’s spent years mastering the art of looking effortlessly put together. Beyond these fashion moments, though, she’s known for her down-to-earth approach, whether that’s recording her The Therapy Crouch podcast or sharing glimpses of family life with her four children.

Now, with the launch of her latest collection for F&F, she’s channelling that same mix of style and ease into a capsule designed to make everyday dressing feel simple.

At the heart of it all? Denim. Clancy has always been drawn to the simplicity and ease of a great pair of jeans, and this collection reflects that. Expect a mix of dark indigo washes, light-toned jumpsuits and versatile separates designed to carry you into spring and beyond.

It’s a formula she swears by: simple yet elevated wardrobe staples that work hard without overcomplicating things. “I’m always on the go, so I wanted to create something that fits seamlessly into a busy life. Pieces you can wear casually with jeans and a top, but also dress up for dinner with a bit of suede or tailoring.

“I wanted to bring together something that would give women confidence and empower them through the season,” she says. “Denim makes me feel confident and I can’t wait for everyone to shop this collection and feel the same.”

To celebrate the new arrival, we caught up with Clancy to find out all the denim details, the last item she bought and her favourite fashion memories.

First and forever fashion memories

“One of my first and most special has to be working with Katie Grand – everything I have done for her has been incredible.

“Walking for Giles Deacon, who made my wedding dress, will always be a favourite.

“Russian Vogue will forever be a fashion memory. We did a story about a day in the life of Liverpool, shooting in the streets there, 60s style.”

Where she feels most herself

“Probably at home or when I am horse-riding. I spend so much time at work in glam and on set. When I am at home I like to be comfy and natural – that’s when I feel most myself.”

Favourite jean shape for spring

“I am living in a longline straight leg at the moment; it’s such a versatile shape for me. I am always reaching for the F&F mid-wash version. The quality is amazing, and the fit is perfect. I’m really enjoying the whole boho trend for spring, this shape is so easy to style with a good Western boot. ”

Her pre-shoot rituals

“I try not to drink for a few days in the run up to a shoot and make sure I drink plenty of water. I also get as much sleep as possible and always visit Natalie Kelly for my go-to facial – she’s the best!”

 Her top styling secrets

“Keep it classic. I work with my stylist, Karen Clarkson, who is incredible. We keep it really classic and mix in vintage for that special look. With fashion you don’t need to break the bank and that’s why I love being a brand ambassador for F&F. It’s great to be able to collaborate with a brand that is stylish and so accessible.”

The last thing she bought

“I recently bought the most amazing Isabel Marant boots. I’m obsessed with Yellowstone at the moment, so I’m very much in my Western era.”

Who she calls when she wants to have fun

“I’m super close with my sister and am so lucky to also have an amazing group of friends that are always my go to for fun. We’re always out having the best time.”

The one fashion piece she can’t live without

“I always reach for my F&F jeans through the year, I honestly couldn’t live without them – they are my failsafe style go-tos. I have been wearing the mid-wash straight leg from this edit on repeat, and at £22.50, they are amazing value.”
