Floral fashion is being reinvented and these pieces are perfect for spring.
Florals for spring may not be groundbreaking, but it looks like the red carpet is reinventing the rule book when it comes to flower power fashion. From Harry Styles’s Brit Awards corsage to Sepideh Moafi’s rather large red Golden Globes moment, we’re starting to see beautiful blooms pop up in the most unexpected places, and it’s certainly putting a smile on our faces.
Playing with proportions, the bigger, the better seems to be the style, with these flowers being the focal point of any outfit. But, as our softly covered staircase is the closest we’re getting to the red carpet, we’ve found a way to translate the trend into our everyday outfits: 3D floral jewellery.
From Zara to Kate Spade, beautiful bloom jewellery abounds, but we’ve narrowed it down to just nine that we think you need to see. And orchid earrings, bold bangles and rather lovely rings are all included.
Of course, the theme is nothing new in the jewellery sphere, but looking for bigger, bolder pieces over dainty, delicate ones, we’re reaching for those made with a more modern twist compared to the classic pretty pendants of years gone by. Keep scrolling to see some of our favourites that will be seeing us through spring, summer and far beyond.
Mango flower beaded earrings
Gorgeous in green, these beaded glass earrings are screaming to be taken on holiday, and we’re counting down the days.
Kate Spade floral frenzy necklace
For those looking for something that truly stands out, Kate Spade may be just the ticket. Crafted from plated metal, cubic zirconia, enamel and freshwater pearl, this piece is more than just pretty and is sure to be cherished for a long time to come.
Pandora pink daisy flower trio ring
Pretty in pink, this Pandora ring is for those who just want to lightly touch on the trend. Crafted from 14ct rose gold-plated metal and three enamel flowers with cubic zirconia in the centre, it’s certainly still 3D, just with a little less volume than some of our other options.
Anthropologie beaded flower earrings
Possibly the most like a retro corsage, these Anthropologie earrings combine feathery-weight fabric with a bold tone and plenty of beads. Available in both blue and yellow, we’re marking them as the wedding guest must-have.
Zara resin flower necklace
While flowers have a reputation for being bold and bright, you can find some pieces that are nice and neutral, such as this Zara necklace. In a tortoiseshell resin and gold-plated rope chain, it’s sure to elevate any outfit, even if you aren’t one for colour.
Kate Spade floral frenzy ear pin earrings
Matching the Kate Spade floral frenzy necklace, these earrings take the trend to the next level. The same plated metal, cubic zirconia, enamel and freshwater pearl feature to create delicate shapes with bold pops of colour while it cleverly sits in the ear with both a pin and cuff fastening.
Thomas Sabo ring flowers colourful stones silver
Famous for its charm bracelets, Thomas Sabo excels when it comes to flowers, and this ring is certainly vying for attention. In a more directional design, it’s all about angles with sharp stones of synthetic corundum red, zirconia white, zirconia violet and zirconia light green.
Zara fabric flower earrings
For those who really want to focus on flower power fashion, few styles are as statement-making as these Zara earrings. Pair with an all-red outfit to keep it truly colour coded.
Oliver Bonas Cora blue flower cluster hoop earrings
Tiptoeing around the trend, these Oliver Bonas earrings flirt with the floral theme in a more modest way. Beautiful in blue, small flower clusters dangle from gold-tone hoops and are just the right size to be worn every day.
