Budapest-based Ringu fuses handmade and modern digital techniques to make breathtaking statement pieces in high street prices. We're fans of their latest collection which capture the northern lights and stars using leather and heat-transfer foil.

Just Trade
We recommend Just Trade's for dedicated fans of gold. The brand also has a lovely story behind it - it was founded in June 2006 to help a struggling fair trade project in the shantytowns of Lima, Peru. Today, it sustainably supports local artisans from Peru, India and Ecuador and celebrates traditional craft skills and materials by helping them reach a European audience.

The e-shop is like a treasure trove for unusual delicate jewellery, especially detached collars made from lace and pearls or chains and pins (as pictured). They also have a brass spherical ball locket called the 'Golden Snitch' for Harry Potter fans.
