The wait is almost over. After sweeping up during award season – with Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri picking up gongs at the Emmys, Golden Globes and the SAG awards – the much-anticipated third season of The Bear is dropping next month. 

The hit show was also nominated for best international series at this year’s Bafta TV awards. Now, Disney+ has dropped a new trailer for season three, and it’s safe to say that we’re excited to see what Carmy and the gang get up to next. So, here’s everything to know so far about season three of The Bear.

What is the plot of S3 of The Bear?

The new season will follow Carmy, Sydney and Richie as they “do what it takes to elevate The Bear to the highest level, all while doing their best just to stay in business… Carmy pushes himself harder than ever, and demands excellence from his crew, who do their best to match his intensity.

“Their quest for culinary excellence will propel the crew to new levels and stress the bonds that hold the restaurant together. As the team grows in size, each member will strive to reach a greater level of service within their role. In the restaurant industry, you’re never on solid ground, and with that ever-changing landscape comes new challenges and opportunities,” reads the synopsis.

Who will star in S3 of The Bear?

Returning to the series are Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as well as Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas and Matty Matheson. Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon will also feature in recurring roles.

When will S3 of The Bear be released?

The third season will drop on 27 June on Disney+ in the UK with all episodes available on the day.
