Offering unprecedented access to the models and revealing how they dominated the elite modelling world while illuminating a bond that single-handedly shifted the power dynamic of an entire industry, the four-part docuseries will explore just how the names Naomi, Cindy, Linda and Christy became as prominent as the designers who styled them.
Launching on 20 September on the streaming platform, The Super Models also boasts exclusive commentary from a long list of notable industry professionals, including the likes of Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, David Fincher, Donatella Versace, Isaac Mizrahi, Anna Sui, Grace Coddington and the late Vivienne Westwood.

Today, the four supermodels remain on the frontlines of culture through activism, philanthropy and business prowess. As the fashion industry continues to redefine itself – and women’s roles within it – The Super Models is being billed as the ultimate story of power and how four women came together to claim it, paving the way for those who followed. But that hasn’t always been the case.
“I was not seen as a person who had a voice in her own destiny,” Crawford recalls in the trailer. During another moment, Campbell says, “I would do all these great shows, wear all these beautiful dresses, but then it would come time for the advertising, and I would not be included.”
