Starring Martin Compston and Anjli Mohindra, a new psychological thriller series is coming to Prime Video. Here’s everything to know so far about Fear.

A thriller that starts with a strange neighbour in a new home? Sign us up. What’s even more exciting about this new psychological thriller series is that it brings together the stars of Line Of Duty and Vigil. On Prime Video, Fear is all about the unnerving effect a neighbour’s behaviour can have on your life – and what on earth you can do to escape it all.

Here’s everything we know so far about Fear, including when we can expect the new series to land on our screens.

What is the plot of Fear?

Based on Dirk Kurbjuweit’s book of the same name, Fear follows a family who finds itself terrorised by a neighbour but with no way out, posing the question: how far would you go to protect your family?

Things are great at first when Martyn and Rebecca make the move from London to a beautiful new home in Glasgow with their two young children. But when their neighbour, Jan, starts to make unnerving comments to Rebecca, the family’s fresh start turns into something much more chilling.

“Facing accusations that are every parent’s worst nightmare, and with the authorities refusing to step in, Martyn and Rebecca feel they have nowhere to turn to for help,” reads the official synopsis.

Who will star in Fear?

Line Of Duty’s Martin Compston will star as Martyn, Vigil’s Anjli Mohindra will play his partner, Rebecca, and Solly McLeod plays neighbour Jan. The cast also includes James Cosmo (Jack Ryan), Maureen Beattie (Deadwater Fell), Daniel Portman (Game Of Thrones), Anneika Rose (Crossfire) and Bhav Joshi (Diplomat).

When will Fear be released?

There is no confirmed date for Fear just yet, but we do know that the series will drop on Prime Video at some point in 2025.
