Beyoncé’s Renaissance world tour film promises a behind-the-scenes look at the record-breaking visual album.

Iconic visuals. Glittering fan outfits. Giant clam shells and mechanical horses. Blue Ivy’s show-stealing choreography. Anyone that was fortunate enough to attend Beyoncé’s Renaissance world tour in person would agree that it wasn’t merely a concert, but truly a spectacle to behold.

But if you didn’t get the chance to witness Queen Bey at her absolute greatest, fear not. Following in the footsteps of Taylor Swift’s recently announced The Eras tour film, Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé is on its way to cinemas. And soon.

Sharing the trailer to Instagram, the singer wrote: “Be careful what you ask for, ’cause I just might comply.” The short clip included black and white rehearsal and backstage montages, showing everything from cheering crowds to intimate mother-daughter moments.

And on 23 November, fans were treated to a first-look teaser trailer directly from the woman herself.  “I have nothing to prove to anyone at this point,” she begins the voiceover before showcasing clips with her husband Jay-Z and children, Blue Ivy and twins Rumi and Sir, alongside unseen backstage footage and film of her onstage during the tour.

When will Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé be released in the UK?

Well, the good news is that the UK Beyhive finally have a date. The film will land in UK cinemas on Friday 1 December and you can book tickets on Beyoncé’s dedicated film website: intl.beyoncefilm.com

The Grammy award-winning visual album is widely considered to be some of Beyoncé’s best and most powerful work to date.

Over the course of five months, 2.7 million concertgoers attended the 57-date tour, which recently concluded in New Orleans having grossed an estimated $2.1 billion (£1.7bn), according to Forbes
