The Greatest Hits explores love, grief and how music can shape us and our relationships.

Music can be a powerful thing, but what happens when certain songs are so powerful that they literally transport you back in time? In a new romance film coming to Disney+ next month, that’s exactly what happens. Starring Lucy Boynton, The Greatest Hits explores love, grief and how music can shape us and our relationships.

Here’s everything we know so far about The Greatest Hits, including a brand new trailer for the upcoming film.

What is the plot of The Greatest Hits?

Harriet finds art imitating life when she discovers certain songs can transport her back in time – literally pulling her back into old memories. While she relives the past, journeying back into romantic moments with her late boyfriend, her time travelling collides with a new love interest in the present.

As she explores the tangled emotional connection between music and memory, Harriet wonders whether she can change the past – and more importantly, if she should.
