Starring Simone Ashley and Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Prime Video are bringing us yet another heartwarming romcom and we’re so ready to get into our feelings next month.

As much as I love going back to romcom classics such as How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days and The Proposal, it’s always exciting to treat yourself to a brand new romcom – where you don’t know the ending or half the script. Prime Video already released a sweet and funny romcom last year, Camila Mendes’ Upgraded, as well as its hit film The Idea Of You, and the streamer has now announced that another one is on its way.

Picture This is all about how far we go to find love and the hilarious stories we pick up along the way. The best part? Bridgerton’s Simone Ashley will be taking the lead. So, here’s everything we know so far about Picture This, including a new trailer and first-look images.

What is the plot of Picture This?

Pia is as single as they come and is trying to keep her failing photography studio afloat in London with her best friend, Jay. “As her sister Sonal prepares to get married and her mother Laxmi urges the resolutely independent Pia to partner up, a spiritual guru at Sonal’s engagement party predicts Pia will meet the love of her life among the next five dates she goes on. As her family intervenes, setting her up on a series of increasingly desperate blind dates, Pia begins a hilarious but heartfelt quest for real love,” reads the synopsis.

With her sister’s wedding looming and family playing matchmaker, her ex reappears, throwing both her love and professional life into chaos.

Who will star in Picture This?

Simone Ashley stars as Pia and Hero Fiennes Tiffin (After) as her ex and love interest, Charlie.

Further cast includes Phil Dunster (Ted Lasso), Nikesh Patel (Starstruck), Adil Ray (Citizen Khan), Sindhu Vee (Matilda: The Musical), Anoushka Chadha (You), Kulvinder Ghir (Bend It Like Beckham) and Luke Fetherston (Still Up).

The film is directed by Prarthana Mohan, written by Nikita Lalwani and is based on the Australian original film, Five Blind Dates.

When will Picture This be released?

The film will stream globally on Prime Video on 6 March. In the meantime, you can watch the new trailer for the romcom below.
