It’s a good year to be a romance fan: 2024 already has several romcoms under its belt (Prime Video’s Upgraded and The Idea Of You to name just two) and there are still more to come. One major film hitting the big screen this summer is Scarlett Johansson’s space-inspired romcom, Fly Me To The Moon. And we’re very excited to see that she’s back in her romance era, this time alongside Channing Tatum.

So, here’s everything to know about Apple TV+’s Fly Me To The Moon, including when we can expect to watch it in cinemas.

What is the plot of Fly Me To The Moon?

Set against the backdrop of the Apollo 11 moon landing, “sparks fly in all directions as marketing maven Kelly Jones, brought in to fix Nasa’s public image, wreaks havoc on launch director Cole Davis’s already difficult task. When the White House deems the mission too important to fail, Jones is directed to stage a fake moon landing as backup, and the countdown truly begins.”
