When The Devil Wears Prada was released in 2006, fans couldn’t get enough of the film that delved into the drama, ruthlessness and dry comedy of the magazine fashion world.

And now, 18 years later, and with a musical version due to open in the West End in the autumn (starring Ugly Betty’s Vanessa Williams as Miranda Priestly – love a glossy mag crossover!), a sequel is finally in the works. Although the script is in its early stages, the anticipation has already started to ramp up: the film’s three stars reunited for a skit at the SAG Awards in February.
