Still in mourning for the end of Harry Potter? Well, if you're a hardcore fan like us, you'll be pleased to know that J.K. Rowling is writing reports on the fictional Quidditch world cup.

Written in the voice of Ginny Potter (née Weasley), who is now a sports reporter, she is the Daily Prophet's Quidditch Correspondent in the Patagonian desert, where the matches are taking place.

Harry Potter fans will be able to read regular updates from the Quidditch tournament via the Pottermore website. Currently, there are two reports up on the Pottermore site, which include the opening ceremony and the first match between Norway and the Ivory Coast.

In the clash, Norway beats the Ivory Coast in just two hours. According to the report, the last time the teams met the match latest an incredible five days.

However, this time the match was stopped twice to investigate jinxes that were thrown in the direction of celebrated Norwegian Chaser Lars Lundekvam.

In the first report, about the opening ceremony, Ginny also speaks to Chief Consulting Magizoologist Rolf Scamander. Die-hard Potter fans will notice that this is a nod to the Fantastic Beasts screenplay that J.K. Rowling is currently writing, the protagonist of which is Newt Scamander, Rolf's grandfather.

As if that wasn't keeping Rowling busy enough, the multi-millionaire author is set to become the first guest editor on Radio 4's Woman's Hour, which will air later this month from 28 April to 2 May.

Rowling is set to discuss many topics, including pseudonyms in literature as well as "the power and myth of the shoe in popular culture".
