Join us at the Emerald Street Literary Festival

You know us, by now. Stylist will always get excited about books and reading and authors. And so do many of you.

Which is why we wanted to tell you about an event our sister title Emerald Street is putting on in June.

The Emerald Street Literary Festival will take place in the Royal Geographical Society in London on Saturday June 10.

There will be so much going on – all of it programmed by Emerald Street’s editor, Anna Fielding.  Kate Mosse, the founder of The Bailey's Prize for Women’s Fiction, will debate why we love to talk about books with this year’s shortlisted authors; there are panels on race in today’s Britain featuring writers Reni Eddo-Lodge and Coco Khan; a discussion about where travel writing is going in conversation with Granta and Rough Guides; and why we have a continuing fascination with witchcraft in writing.

The tickets start at just £5. Get yours here

It’s how we want to spend a Saturday. Come and join in.

What’s going on at the Emerald Street Literary Festival?

These things and more...

Sarah Perry

Sarah Perry’s The Essex Serpent has been one of the best-selling books of the last year. She discusses Essex girls, serpents and writing a best-seller with Stylist columnist Lucy Mangan.

Faber Academy

We’ve teamed up with Faber Academy to offer a workshop for those of you who would like to become authors themselves. The session will be run by Faber Academy’s Richard Skinner, Director of the Fiction Programme. A great chance to sample these highly prestigious courses.

Emerald Street Presents…

The Emerald Street Presents… stand gives you the chance to hear from authors we really love in an intimate environment. These are the writers we’ve talked about non-stop and you’ll be talking about them too. Who are they? You can look forward to Daisy Johnson, Cosey Fanni Tutti, Elif Shafak and Robin Dalton.
