An eight-year-old girl is winning at life after penning a bestseller about her annoying brother
9 years ago
The latest literary inspiration in womanhood might have not even hit her teens, but she’s already written a bestselling book.
Nia Mya Reese is winning at life after writing her internationally-acclaimed novel – hold it – at the tender age of eight.
After telling her teacher that she was an expert in caring for her annoying little brother, five-year-old Ronald Michael, she was encouraged to write a book about her specialist subject.
Taking the summer to refine her thoughts with the assistance of her mother Chernita, Nia penned How To Deal And Care For Your Annoying Little Brother.
The heart-warming book shares details on a number of important topics, including how to spend time alone, how to say sorry, and how to love your younger sibling.
“It didn’t take very long,” said Nia Mya to CBS news.

Not only did the book earn her the kudos of her town and a visit from the city mayor, but her non-fiction read is now listed as a bestselling parenting book on Amazon.
And, when asked about her feelings towards her brother, Nia Mya didn’t exactly beat around the bush.
“Aren’t most five-year-old brothers annoying?” she was asked.
“Well, he’s a little downright annoying. He will throw the ball and the ball will just goes flying everywhere,” she said.
“And sometimes it hits me.”
In spite of her expertise, Nia Mya said her brother isn’t always the best at taking her advice.
“He won’t always listen. You need to teach him sometimes,” said the pint-sized author.

Now that Nia Mya is getting her well-deserved taste of fame, apparently the other kids in her class have been inspired to follow suit.
“It really has spread the excitement across our school for other young writers,” said Nia Mya’s teacher, Beth Hankins.
While we eagerly await for a sequel, we’re hoping Ronald Michael is going to share his thoughts on his big sister too.
