Sienna Miller has fallen for a fringe. Again.

It's not the first time we've seen the actress with a face-framing 'do, but the look doesn't usually last long.

Yo-yo fringe fans are familiar with the cycle. The excitement of the chop and a fresh new look is followed by feelings of frustration as the fringe becomes a demanding, vision-obscuring face-invader. The cursed growing-out stage acts as a deterrent for a while, then someone looks phenomenal with one, the hairdresser talks convincingly about how it will 'bring out your eyes' and the whole process starts over...

Sienna's not the only celebrity who likes the occasional flirt with a fringe - see what the stars look like with and without theirs and rate your favourite fringe out of five:

Stars and their fringes

Spring is a good time for change and Sienna Miller has chosen to chop in a fringe...but how long will it last? We wouldn't be surprised if her forehead is proudly back on show come winter.

Stars and their fringes

Non-committal Kim Kardashian is known to use the stick-on variety.

Stars and their fringes

We haven't seen Cheryl Cole with a blunt fringe for years...but give it time.

Stars and their fringes

Angelina Jolie likes her 'bangs' soft and loose.

Stars and their fringes

She's got a tiny forehead, but we do appreciate Taylor Swift's substantial eyelash-skimmer.

Stars and their fringes

Her short hair makes it easy for Carey Mulligan to experiment with some face furniture.

Stars and their fringes

Beyonce's long and complex relationship with her hair has included the odd blunt fringe along the way.

Stars and their fringes

Kate Moss with a fringe just seems...wrong.

Stars and their fringes

Alexa Chung, on the other hand, is rarely seen without hers.

Stars and their fringes

Katy Perry prefers the tricky but trendy short fringe.
