The Stylist Skincare Awards 2015: 20 award-winning products that will transform your skin

By Joanna McGarry

You voted in your thousands. Ten expert judges filtered through hundreds of products. And now we can finally reveal the coveted winners of our sixth annual Skincare Awards.

Olay. Or Oil of Ulay, as it was known at the time, was the first skincare product I discovered as a curious nine-year-old. My mum said it would clear up the impetigo on my chin. It didn’t. But I fell in love with it all the same – the matte pink bottle, its scent of a running bath. It set off a chain reaction into a lifelong fascination with skincare.

But finding a true gem is rare. This was the seed that blossomed into the first Stylist Skincare Awards, six years ago. We remain the only magazine to dedicate their beauty awards entirely to skin. Over the next four pages, you’ll see the 20 products that stormed to victory across 21 skincare categories. Once again, we’ve combined your votes (all 60,612 of them) with that of our esteemed panel of judges to find this year’s winners, so you know these formulas work – both in the lab, and at home.

The way we think about skincare is changing, too. We discover how skincare is having a major impact on our make-up regime on page 56. So, let this year’s winners signal the end of moments spent staring blankly at shelves. Rip this out and use it as a shopping list, in the hope of setting off a skincare chain reaction of your own. Let me know what you think of the winners on social media using #stylistskincare2015.
