Want to discover some of the brilliant beauty products in the Stylist Live 2024 goody bag? Our beauty director picks out the five products she can’t stop using…
We all remember the joy of picking up a magazine in our teen years and seeing it came with a beauty freebie. For me, it led to discovering some of the products I used throughout the 00s (and remember fondly today), which is why I’m thrilled that those attending this year’s Stylist Live with a VIP ticket will leave with a major goody bag.
Unsurprisingly, VIP tickets across the three-day event are now sold out, and those who were lucky enough to get one can expect to find an impressive line-up. The goody bag is packed with best-of-the-best iconic brands, including Hugo Boss, Skin Rocks, Murad, Clarins, REN and Trinny London. It also contains newer-but-already-cult brands like Skin Rocks and Refy, the latter of which has gone from strength to strength despite only launching in 2020.
In fact, brand founder Jess Hunt will be joining us at Stylist Live, where she’ll be quizzed on the beauty industry and her journey to launching Refy. You can catch her on the main stage with a general admission ticket, which are currently available for £24. We’d recommend booking quickly to avoid missing out and to take advantage of the discount.
If that wasn’t impressive enough, the goody bag is filled with products worth over £450 (yes, £450 – that isn’t a typo), and it’s as good as many of the advent calendars that cost mega bucks. Keen to explore the contents a bit more? Here, I select the five products I’ve tried, tested and loved, and once you get your hands on the VIP goody bag, I think you will, too…
Refy Lip Sculpt
One end of this dual lip liner has a creamy liner that adds a sharp, precise finish to your lip look. On the other, a ‘setter’ that delivers a matte finish and locks your product into place for zero smudging or bleeding.
Skin Rocks Retinoid 1
Created by skincare expert Caroline Hirons, this retinoid is particularly brilliant for those who haven’t tried one before. It has a gentle beginner strength that works to even out skin tone and texture without irritation.
Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo
Whether your hair is prone to going flat or just goes greasy quickly, this dry shampoo volumises at the roots, wicks away signs of oil and refreshes with a zingy citrus scent.
Hugo Boss Boss The Scent Magnetic Eau de Parfum for Women
Notes of osmanthus flower, ambrette and white musk combine to create an intense ambery scent that you’ll want to keep spritzing. Plus, the deep purple diamond-shaped bottle looks incredible on any dressing table.
Shop Hugo Boss Boss The Scent Magnetic Eau de Parfum for Women at Lookfantastic, £63.70 for 50ml
Uklash Lengthening Mascara
Water-resistant, deep black pigments and hydrating for lashes, this formula ticks off everything you could want in a mascara. Plus, the curved silicone brush easily captures even the tiniest of lash hairs to swoop them into the perfect curl.
