The singer continues her world domination by scooping a top award for her innovative, inclusive beauty brand.
Rihanna’s beauty brand Fenty Beauty may have only launched just over two months ago, but the fashion icon’s debut cosmetics line continues to set the beauty world alight.
From glowing product reviews to its sell-out status, the brand has already garnered huge success – said to have raked in $72 million (approximately £54m) already.
And now the brand has been named in Time magazine’s 25 Inventions of the Year for 2017.
Recognised for its universal appeal, the line has been highly praised for including 40 shades of foundation and catering to every skin tone.
Speaking to Time, she said it was “important that every woman felt included in this brand.
“We are all so different, with our own unique skin tones, so we started with the 40 foundation shades out the gate.”
Taking to Instagram, Rihanna shared her delight with her millions of followers in being included in the list.
Many of her fans congratulated her, with one writing: “You really showed those beauty companies.”
“Love this brand!” another posted.
From eSight3 (glasses that help blind people to see) to Apple iPhone X, the list also hosts an impressive line-up of other innovative products.
“The options are pretty much unlimited in the world of beauty, and I love challenges, so I’m going to continue to have fun and push the boundaries in this industry,” Rihanna told Time.
We can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.
