We're going to make an assumption here: you like to look nice for work.
The thing is, particularly in the winter, we all like to have our sleep, which means our window for getting ready in the mornings in much shorter, as getting out of bed is much (MUCH) harder.
But we have found a solution - quick hairstyles that can be done in minutes. Even better, no washing is required. All you need is dirty tresses, hairbands and some grips.

The double braid
Best for: long hair
Need a quick hairstyle during the summer, or just want to cheer yourself up in the long cold winter months? Then this double braid is the way forward. While it requires fairly long hair, it is ideal for when you want to look like you've spent ages on your 'do but have, in reality, spent hardly any time at all.

The chignon for short hair
Best for: short to long hair
The chignon is a classic up do but always a bit of a struggle when you've got slightly shorter (i.e. shoulder length) hair. This look is ideal for work but also if you're going to a fancy event and are pressed for time.

Best for: medium to long hair
If your tresses are a little dirty, then this is a great style to go for. Ideal if you're running out of the house and need to look presentable for work but then have cocktails with friends in the evening.

The Quick Top Knot
Best for: long to medium length hair
Don't worry, you won't need a doughnut or a sock for this hairstyle. Instead, you just need some dexterous hands and dirty hair. Simply put, you just have to make sure you comb it first, tie in a ponytail, do lots of backcombing and then secure with some kirby grips.

Quick curls
Best for: short to long hair
Curling your hair? In the morning? Yes, it can be done and it doesn't actually have to take forever. Simply shove your hair in a ponytail, divide into two parts and then grab your curling iron and go. This method is all about bulk curling but it still produces a brilliant result.
