The O: NARS has opened its own beauty playground, and swing sets will never be the same again

The immersive experience is designed to stimulate each of the five senses.

In 1999, Francois Nars launched Orgasm. While it may seem like an unsuspecting blusher, the pan of peachy pink powder rapidly became one of the brand’s – and arguably, the world’s – most iconic beauty products. As well as delivering flattering colour to the cheeks, the formula is packed with finely milled golden shimmer that creates a gorgeous and healthy flush on all skin tones. Even Meghan Markle is a fan. While working as an actress on Suits, she told Allure, “I use it on and off camera because it gives you a nice glow from within.”

Now, Orgasm is celebrating its 20th birthday, and to celebrate, NARS Cosmetics has created a pink sensorial playground; The O. Here, guests are invited to five “high-touch, immersive environments”, with each one designed to indulge your sense of sight, touch, smell, sound and taste.

This includes a See Me Room, which features a merry-go-round; a Smell Me Room, with indoor swings and clouds; Touch Me Room, which has 120 latex spheres; Hear Me Room, which has a content orb and last but by no means least, a Taste Me Room. In there, you’ll find candy floss, edible bubbles, O-nuts and the chance to grab a custom tote bag and special Orgasm gift.

Visitors will also be given personalised RFID key cards that they can tap at designated touch points to initiate individual photo and video opportunities. When you’re done, it’ll all be sent to you via email. Basically, the perfect way to get content for the ‘Gram.

The O playground will be open to the public for three days from Friday 17 – Sunday 19 May at The Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, East London and admission is free. Additionally, NARS has stressed that the pop-up is exclusive to the United Kingdom and will not be recreated anywhere else in the world.

So what are you waiting for? A world of #content awaits.
