From glow-giving moisturisers and serums to fragrances and make-up bag essentials, we’ve tried and tested a bunch of new launches this year. Here, we round-up the beauty products that we couldn’t stop reaching for in 2024. Yes, they’re that good.
Being a member of the Stylist beauty team means we have the privilege (and duty) to try out all the new beauty product launches that pass our desks, so we can decipher and reiterate to you the ones that have hit the mark and are worth your investment and time.
This is more important now than ever – with new beauty brands and products seeming to launch overnight, we know it can be hard to cut through the noise and also cut back on unnecessary purchases.
This is why we’ve done a round-up of our most used beauty products of the year. This not only means we’ve personally tested and approved them, it also means we’ve continued to reach for them throughout the year. Essentially, these products are pretty damn good.
Here, beauty director Hanna Ibraheem and senior beauty writer Charlotte Bitmead have delved into our make-up bags and empties bins to crown our most used beauty products of 2024.
Noyz Sh**ty Day Eau de Parfum
Hanna says: “The perfect antidote to, well, a not-so-great day. Every time I looked at the perfumes on my vanity, my hand hovered towards this most of the time, thanks to its cosy, refreshing and feel-good blend. It contains top notes of eucalyptus leaves, ocean air, coconut water and bergamot; middle notes of salted fig, clary sage, French lavender and cucumber; and base notes of tonka bean and sea-soaked woods. It’s airy, warm and subtly salty, somehow capturing that feeling of contentment when you take a deep breath overlooking waves overlapping in the ocean. Just smell it and you’ll see what I mean.”

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Bronzer
Hanna says: “Ever since reviewing this five (!) years ago, I’ve gotten through multiple pans of this bronzer and it has never left my make-up bag. A foolproof solution to bronzed, healthy-looking skin, it has an incredibly finely milled powder that blends seamlessly without leaving any harsh fines or muddy-looking finishes. My shade, Tan, is perfect for my skintone and once swept onto skin, gives a natural-looking glow. In fact, I follow up with a smaller eyeshadow brush and sweep some of the bronzer over my eyelids for a monochromatic terracotta look. A forever favourite.”

Rhode The Pocket Blush
Charlotte says: “These dinky balms fit perfectly in my make-up bag and also resemble the toy found inside a Kinder Surprise, which gives me a cheery wave of nostalgia. No matter how dry my skin looks or feels, these always glide on seamlessly to add glow and bring life back into my dreary skin.”
Laneige Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Intensive Moisturizer

SkinCeuticals Skin C CE Ferulic
Charlotte says: “I seem to go through serums quicker than any other product in my skincare arsenal. This antioxidant serum is a must in my morning routine and I notice my skin feels more resilient and smooth with continued use. I can’t keep count of how many bottles I’ve gone through this year. Plus, the glow it adds is undeniable and it doesn’t pill under make-up.”
Huda Beauty Creamy Kohl Eye Pencil
Hanna says: “Eyeliner has been an important part of my make-up routine since I was a teenager, and this is by far one of my favourites. It’s creamy, glides on easily (a major plus when tight-lining your upper lash line because let’s face it, it’s a horrible feeling) and most importantly, stays put all day without smudging. It can be blended out for a smokier finish but if that’s what you’re after, act fast as once it sets, it doesn’t budge. It was my go-to for all of my wedding events and I didn’t have to top it up once.”
Kilian Paris Fièvre Verte Eau de Parfum
Charlotte says: “I like to switch my fragrance on a daily basis and have found I’ve had to restrain myself from spritzing this daily this year. The smooth vetiver, oaky sandalwood and medicinal liquorice blend make it unlike any other perfume in my stash, which is probably why I get more compliments on this fragrance than any other.”
