The ad campaign for Oh Lola, Marc Jacobs' recently launched fragrance starring US teen actress Dakota Fanning, has been banned in Britain.

The Oh Lola ads which feature the teen actress Fanning sitting on the floor, wearing a pale coloured thigh length dress with the oversized rose topped perfume bottle, have been deemed as too 'sexually provocative' by the Advertising Standards Authority Despite only 4 people actually making a complaint when the ads appeared over the summer, the ASA are sticking to their decision ' We considered the ad could be seen to sexualise a child. We therefore concluded that the ad was irresponsible and was likely to cause serious offence.'
