Rumour has it that Adele is working on her own beauty brand – here’s everything we know so far

Are you ready to be as invested in Adele’s make-up line as you are in every single album she’s ever released? Because we definitely are.
In case selling over 70 million albums, having a residency in Las Vegas and just generally being one of the most famous singers of our time isn’t enough, Adele is now rumoured to be adding yet another string to her bow, this time in the form of a beauty brand.
Following in the footsteps of other famous founders, including Victoria Beckham, Lady Gaga, Hailey Bieber, Rihanna and Scarlett Johansson (who, can we quickly add, are all living proof that celebrity beauty brands can be good) it seems Adele is finally ready to stop gatekeeping exactly how we can recreate that famous smoky cat eye of hers, the one that we all love so much.
While we don’t have many specific details just yet, current word on the street is that the singer has filed for a trademark for a variety of different products under the brand name The Shelbourne Collective.
We are yet to know what that might mean or where it comes from, but there is every chance that – like Bobbi Brown’s Jones Road – it might not have any special significance whatsoever.
The list of prospective products is thought to include both eyeshadow and eyeliner, which makes sense given Adele’s go-to make-up look, as well as everything from lipstick and lip balm to body care and perfume.
There’s no mention of anything from Adele herself yet, which sadly means we don’t have any intel as far as a release date goes – and we probably won’t for a while – but we have our fingers crossed for a 2024 launch. And believe us when we say that you’ll be the first to know as soon as we hear even the smallest of details.
