Whether you like yours with bangs á la Charithra Chandran, perfectly undone like Irish icon Ayo Edebiri, or slicked back and edgy like Miss Flo, there was a bob look for you on the Bafta red carpet last night.

But the one thing all these bobs had in common? To varying degrees, they elegantly grazed the shoulders of the stars wearing them. And with bobs being such a big 2024 hair trend, we simply had to take notice.

Having rocked a shorter, more sculpted bob to other red carpets of late, the It Girl we’re all obsessed with wore her hair softly layered and brushed-out last night, with some volume at the ends giving it an air of laid-back glamour.

Pugh’s grown-out pixie was gelled to perfection last night, with the longest layers flicking out at the ends and just brushing the tops her shoulders around the back.

Charithra Chandran

Between the high-shine factor and the perfectly styled fringe, Chandran was giving us everything with this bang bob.

Morfydd Clark

Clark flirted with the lob on the red carpet last night, with her midi-bob styled in soft, sleek waves.

Meg Bellamy

With its hint-of-a-side-part and blunt flicked ends, Bellamy’s bob was very 00s rom-com, and we’re huge fans.
