Despite only launching in the UK just over two years ago, Glossier has established itself as one of the most talked about brands on the market. With more fans than ever following the brand’s every move (including our own beauty team), any new product news is seriously exciting stuff.

We’ve already been blessed with a jam-packed year of Glossier so far this year. At the beginning of the year they launched a whole spin-off brand, Glossier Play, and have since introduced new staple products such as Milky Oil – a new bi-phase make-up remover – and Brow Flick, the sister product of the iconic Boy Brow.

And now Glossier has done it again with it’s latest product, Futuredew. Going back to the core message of their “Skin First. Makeup Second” philosophy, the new oil-serum hybrid promises to give you the glowing, dewy skin you’ve always wanted – aka that gorgeous sheen you get after applying your skincare products but disappears as soon as you leave the house – and make it last. 

At £23, Futuredew is priced similarly to Glossier’s other Super serums, and uses a blend of four nourishing oils to deliver moisture and provide the perfect dewy look. 

To use Futuredew, you can apply two pumps all over your face as the last step in your skincare routine. It works like a very gentle highlighter to give your face that extra pop; wear alone or under makeup and add more to the high points of your face to give them that extra bit of glow.

We were lucky enough to get our hands on the beautifully iridescent bottle ahead of time, so Stylist’s beauty director Shannon Peter put Futuredew to the test.

“As someone who applies more moisturiser mid-afternoon, rather than powdering, my main skin priority is to look dewy and glowy at all times.The shinier the better! So a product that can stretch out that post-skincare aesthetic for hours after application is right up my street,” she says. “It feels a little sticky when you first apply, but the tackiness soon subsides, simply layering skin in a dreamy sheen.”

She continues: “It’s a fairly thick formula – a bit like a rich rosemary-scented, pink-tinted face cream – but it doesn’t feel as claggy and greasy as a liquid or cream highlighter. The entire beauty team has tried it, and it works on all our various skin tones.”
