Glossier is one of those brands that when a new product is launched, it seems like the whole world stops and instantly adds it to their basket. Their latest offering? A dual-action eye and lip cream, designed to boost hydration and plump the area instantly. 

Bubblewrap, £23 that’s available exclusively at Glossier is inspired by a common beauty industry hack: to apply eye cream to your lips. 

Why? Because the skin around your eyes and lips is actually very similar. It’s the thinnest and most fragile area of skin, meaning that thicker creams designed for the rest of your face are often too heavy to penetrate these delicate areas. Combine the two and you’ve got yourself a winning multitasking product. 

So what makes Glossier’s Bubblewrap so cult-worthy? You’ve probably noticed before that when your skin is dehydrated, your lips and eyes are the first tell-tale areas, making them a prime area for needing a boost of instant hydration.

The rich cream is designed to create an invisible protective cushion to your skin (think: bubblewrap to a delicate package).
