If you’re a Game of Thrones fan, then the bad news is that you have until 2019 to wait until the next series airs.
But the good news is that Halloween is right around the corner – and there are some seriously incredible Game of Thrones make-up tutorials lurking in the YouTube archives.
Whether you want to build statement eyebrows and long blonde braids a la Daenerys Targaryen, or sculpt mega cheekbones and strawberry blonde ringlets in the style of Cersei Lannister, there’s a look here that will banish the usual Halloween cat-or-ghost dilemma for good (or just become your new weekday style).
Here, we have found four of the best – and easiest to follow – tutorials online for your perusal.
Daenerys Targaryen
This seriously impressive tutorial comes courtesy of blogger Jessica Vill, who goes by the name of Jbunzie online.
As well as being brilliantly easy to follow, the tutorial requires only a few make-up products to complete the look, including ones you probably already have in your beauty stash such as the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette (£24, debenhams.com).
Vill even shares a clever cotton wool trick to help you get the character’s full, plump lips. Genius.
Cersei Lannister
If you’re angling (no pun intended) to recreate Cersei Lannister’s strong cheekbones this Halloween, look no further than Courtoon’s masterful tutorial.
The blogger uses a variety of eyeshadows to seamlessly contour her face, nose and jawline, with impressive results – and ones that are easy to replicate at home, too.
She even demonstrates how to recreate Cersei’s “smirk lines”, for that extra touch of authenticity.
Note: this is clearly pre-crop, for anyone confused by the hair length.
Sansa Stark
Sansa Stark is most recognisable for her long auburn hair and intricate plaits.
In this tutorial, blogger Sally Jo shows you first how to recreate Sansa’s minimal make-up look, followed by a tutorial on creating her loose curls.
Arya Stark
Blogger Caterpillarowly already bears more than a passing resemblance to Arya Stark, but this easy-to-follow tutorial is still useful for those wanting to recreate her look.
Including clever make-up hacks such as how to change the size of your nose with a bit of contouring magic, this is a whistle-stop tour to becoming a real-life Arya impersonator. Wig optional.
