Run, don’t walk: Rihanna is bringing Fenty Beauty to Boots

Rihanna just made her bestselling beauty range a lot more accessible.

Rihanna has no intention of slowing down. In the last few months alone, she has filed a trademark for “Fenty Skin”, expanded her complexion products and, most recently, unveiled her Getting Hotter range, a summer range packed with pastel and neon eyeliners and lipsticks.

But now, two years since its exclusive launch in Harvey Nichols, Fenty Beauty has announced that it will be available in Boots stores nationwide.

Announcing the news on her Instagram page, Rihanna wrote, “@fentybeauty is officially taking over the UK! I’m here to announce our brand new partnership with @BootsUK !! Look out for us at locations from MAY 10th !! I’m so excited, I love Boots and I love my UK fans!!! Get ready for #FENTYBEAUTYxBOOTS !!”

When Fenty first launched in the UK, make-up aficionados flocked to their closest Harvey Nichols and queued up in a bid to get their hands on a piece of Rihanna’s beauty collection. The queues lasted days and the range quickly became one of Harvey Nichols’ most successful launches of all time.

One of the major reasons for its success is the way that Fenty is a champion for diversity. Its Pro Filt’r Foundation, £27, comes in an impressive 40 shades and when it launched, two shades from the ‘deep’ section of the range sold out instantly.

By launching into Boots, the brand will become a lot more accessible. Originally available in eight Harvey Nichols stores, fan-favourite products like the Stunna Lip Paint and Killawatt Freestyle Highlighters will sit on shelves in 32 Boots locations across the UK. These are:

  • Bath Southgate
  • Blanchardstown
  • Bluewater
  • Brent Cross
  • Bromley
  • Cambridge
  • Canary Wharf
  • Cardiff
  • Chelmsford
  • Derby
  • Dudley Merry Hill
  • Exeter
  • Glasgow Braehead
  • Glasgow Fort
  • Kingston
  • Hull (as of May 15)
  • Leeds
  • Leicester (Fosse Park)
