In-your-face arches like those seen on Brooke Shields back in the Eighties were seen all over the a/w runways at Prada, Narciso Rodriguez and Christians Siriano.
The easiest way to recreate it is with a good eyebrow pencil. Choose a shade lighter than your brow colour for a more modern look - for blondes this can be tricky but Sisley is launching Phyto-Sourcils Perfect Eyebrow Pencil in Cappucino, £29, which is the perfect shade without being too pink or grey.
For over-plucked arches try It Cosmetics Brow Pencil Universal Eyebrow, $24, which uses a high-tech complex to restore hair follicles. The only downside is it's only available state-side for the moment, so stock up on your next trip to New York.
If you're struggling with creating the perfect arch for your eye shape try Miss Bollywood's Professional Eyebrow Shapers Kits, £10, which come in five sets containing five different shapes. And, if DIY isn't your strong point, book in with Tracie Giles, a semi-permanent make-up specialist based on London's renowned Harley Street. She uses a hair-by-hair technique to create natural looking tattooed eyebrows. Prices start from £495 for two sessions.
