“My favourite way to use chrome is isolated chrome nail art,” says Burgess. “I love adding a touch of chrome to emphasise the art, so if a full chrome nail isn’t for you, picking up the detail of the design with a chrome is a more subtle but just as beautiful alternative.”

Burgess also predicts that chrome nails will be a popular choice for occasions this summer. She says: “Wedding season is upon us, and a gorgeous sheer chrome is the perfect nail for brides, bridesmaids and wedding guests.”
