Spring is the best time of year to look for a new signature scent, and these are the ones you’ll want to sniff out…
Now that the sun has finally made its much-anticipated return appearance (is it just us who are excited about being able to hang our washing outside to dry?) and the days are getting longer, it feels like we can finally start getting excited about the emergence of spring. It’s taken its sweet time, but it’s better late than never, right?
So along with the good mood that this part of the year brings, it’s time to start switching out the winter perfumes in favour of something more appropriate for the brighter weather. Whether it’s the traditional florals (groundbreaking, we know) or something a little bit more surprising – perhaps a comforting musky scent or a bright, zesty number – we’ve rounded up our current favourites that we think you’re going to love.
Best fragrance for spring 2024
Jo Malone London Sunlit Cherimoya Cologne
You can always rely on Jo Malone London to bring out the big guns when it comes to seasonal scents, and its 2024 Blossoms collection is no exception. Our favourite of the trio is the Sunlit Cherimoya cologne. It opens with a burst of juicy pear that’s mellowed with creamy tonka bean, while the base of copaiba resin adds a warm woodiness that means it’ll linger on your skin all day long.

Dedcool Red Dakota Eau de Parfum
Fresh from LA, Dedcool is the hottest new brand to land at SpaceNK, and we cannot get enough of its scents. As well as the viral Xtra Milk, we also love Red Dakota. Fresh and zesty, it has notes of gardenia, amber and berries that melt into skin to create something cosy and comforting with an added zing that’s perfect for this time of year.
Maison Margiela Replica From The Garden Eau de Toilette
It’s fair to say we’ve never met a Replica fragrance we haven’t immediately fallen in love with, and we were immediately obsessed with From The Garden. Luscious green notes of tomato leaf, green mandarin essence, geranium and patchouli will transport you straight into the middle of a sun-soaked garden, and we’ve never wanted to be anywhere more.

Moschino Toy 2 Pearl Eau de Parfum

Notes of lemon sorbet, jasmine and vetiver essence make this a fresh, zesty floral perfume that’s guaranteed to brighten your day every time you spray it.
Bibbi Swimming Pool Eau de Parfum
Bibbi’s Swimming Pool is unlike anything we’ve ever smelt before, and that’s part of its allure. The green, aromatic scent is – unsurprisingly – inspired by a swimming pool somewhere in the south of Italy and is made up of a refreshing blend of eucalyptus, menthol and ginger. It’s simultaneously soft and sharp, and the dry down leaves skin smelling softly and satisfyingly minty – which sounds weird, but trust us on this one.
MCM Crush Eau de Parfum
If it’s a florals-for-spring fragrance you’re after, then MCM’s latest launch – Crush – could be the one for you. Whether you love or hate the bottle, there’s no denying that the juice inside is beautiful. Notes of apricot nectar combine with hand-picked rose de mai and ambrette for a truly playful and additive spring scent.
Creed Queen of Silk eau de parfum
