From sunkissed bronzing drops to Jo Malone’s honey-scented body scrub, here are 9 products our beauty director loved in March

Each month, Stylist’s beauty director discovers an array of new launches across skincare, haircare, fragrance and make-up. These are the ones she keeps going back to.

March often feels like a bit of an awkward in-between month. Excitable chatter about the start of spring is invariably dampened by indecisive weather, and I’m already feeling a slight bit of panic about the passing of time as I realise we’re closing in on the first quarter of the year. Then, there are the positives: with spring in our grasp, it’s a time for renewal, some sunshine and saying, ‘Wow, look it’s still light outside at 5pm.’ It’s also a time when we see a lot of new beauty products launched in anticipation of the impending new season.

Naturally, sunscreens and SPFs are among the most common launches that enter my inbox. Now, I know how hard it can be to find ‘the one’ SPF that ticks all the boxes: high protection, no white cast, doesn’t feel sticky, won’t sting eyes, sinks in quickly and sits well under make-up. So, I’m happy to report that there are three SPFs in this round-up that I’ve loved using.

Add to that, there are new tinted lip balms, invigorating body scrubs and the perfect springtime nail shade. It’s fair to say that I’m prepped and ready for April. Here are the products I tried, tested and loved over the past month.

Best beauty products that launched in March 2025

Westman Atelier Sun Tone Bronzing Drops Soleil

Westman Atelier Sun Tone Bronzing Drops Soleil

Created out of her expertise as a make-up artist, a recent launch from Westman Atelier comes in the form of these gorgeous liquid bronzers. They deliver a natural-looking, sun-kissed glow, meaning there’s no shimmer in sight. You can either apply it all over the face for warmth or to areas where the sun naturally hits, and I’m pleased to say it doesn’t fade or go streaky post-lunchtime.

Laneige Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum

Laneige Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum

Yes, I’m somebody whose handbag is filled with about 11 different lip products at any given time, but I find myself reaching for this often. Laneige is the brand behind some of my favourite skincare, and they’ve brought that same innovation to this. While it comes in gorgeous ‘nude’ shades that suit everybody, it’s infused with argan ceramide to keep lips hydrated. Plus, the biggest win of all: it isn’t the slightest bit sticky.

Sculpted by Aimee HydraBright Illuminating Serum

Sculpted by Aimee HydraBright Illuminating Serum

Created in South Korea, the home of good skincare, this vitamin C formula works to tackle dark spots and hyperpigmentation, while leaving skin looking brighter. What surprised me most was its texture; unlike other vitamin C serums, this sits between a water and a gel that feels lightweight and refreshing on skin, sinks in quickly and doesn’t leave skin feeling tacky.

Jo Malone Restore Body Scrub

Jo Malone Restore Body Scrub

Jo Malone’s new The Care Collection is packed with gorgeous bodycare formulas, but this one is my favourite. The texture of the scrub provides enough grit to slough away dead skin cells, but isn’t too harsh that it’ll irritate skin. Plus, it smells amazing. When using, expect your shower to fill with notes of honey, cloves and nutmeg.

Nail's Inc. Jelly Effect Nail Polish

Nails.Inc Jelly Effect Nail Polish

Pastel tones are slowly creeping back onto our nails, and lilac is set to be the shade that dominates this season. Like chrome and glazed finishes of the past, jelly is set to be the new big texture, which is why Nails.Inc’s new Jelly Effect Nail Polish is so perfect. Packing a punch of colour and fast drying, they deliver a translucent, jelly-like finish that looks ultra shiny.

Chanel Rouge Coco Baume

Chanel Rouge Coco Baume

While these Chanel tinted lip balms launched earlier this year, I’ve been loving using them over the last month in particular. One swipe delivers a flattering wash of colour, but even better, they can be built up for a stronger colour pay-off. Plus, it contains oleoactive, an oil derived from olive trees, to protect lips against environmental aggressors.

Kate Somerville HydraKate Illuminating SPF 50+ Drops

Kate Somerville HydraKate Illuminating SPF50+ Drops

Not only does Kate Somerville’s new SPF50 provide high sun protection, but it’s packed with skincare benefits, too. It utilises the buzzy ingredient of the moment, ectoin, to give skin a hydrated boost. Plus, 24.5% non-nano zinc oxide means it shields skin against harmful UV rays without leaving you with a white cast.

Rituals The Dream Collection Whipped Shower Foam

Rituals The Dream Collection Whipped Shower Foam

I can’t get enough of the Whipped Shower Foams from Rituals, and its latest scent is, as the name suggests, dreamy. As well as notes of jasmine, powdery orris, sandalwood and musk, the formula has been enhanced with soothing blue daisies and moonstone, a semi-precious gemstone.
