Each month, Stylist’s beauty director discovers an array of new launches across skincare, haircare, fragrance and make-up. Here are the ones she keeps going back to.
Dare I say it? Finally, summer has arrived. With temperatures rising, the sun shining and rosé season in full flow, it also means the beauty industry has seen an influx of summer products hitting the market.
Of course, with the commute feeling slightly… sweatier (shout-out to the Central line), skincare has been one of my first ports of call when looking for new products this month. Along the way, I found an oil-reducing body wash and a squalane-based lip balm that seems to have helped my perpetually dry lips.
On that note, there has been a lot of lip products to have landed in the past month, many of which are brilliant. So much so, that I have three different lip products in this round-up.
Read on to discover the beauty items I discovered, loved and kept going back to throughout the month of June…
Best beauty products that launched in June
Aesop Eleos Aromatique Hand Balm
One of life’s little joys = stumbling across an Aesop hand wash or hand cream in a fancy restaurant bathroom (shout out the iconic Resurrection duo). The brand’s latest hand balm smells just as dreamy and is the perfect addition to your handbag for a little luxurious touch to your day. It has a gorgeous woody, herbaceous scent while the formula combats dry hands with ingredients like shea butter, coconut and castor oil and essential oils like rosemary and cedarwood.
Glossier Lip Line
Many make-up artists say the key to finding your perfect ‘nude’ lip colour is matching it to your nipples. So, when creating its new range of lip liners, Glossier made them in eight ‘nipple-matched’ shades. The creamy formula makes it easy to follow you lip’s natural shade and then sets quickly, meaning no fading or bleeding. Of course, you don’t have to just go for your most ‘natural’ shade either – my current favourite is Flush, a deep cognac colour.
Mauli Rituals Kansa Acupressure Tool
Whether it’s because of a bad night’s sleep in a heatwave or the morning after a couple of rosés, I love incorporating a quick de-puffing massage into my morning routine, and this tool has been the perfect addition. Created to stimulate lymph nodes and ease tension and pain, place the tool on the hollows of the face and apply gentle pressure, moving it in circles, zigzags and sweeping motions. The result is less inflammation and reduced jaw pain. Even my sinuses feel clearer.

Naturium The Purifier Niacinamide Serum Body Wash
Naturium has been leading the way in super-boosted bodycare products, and its latest drop doesn’t disappoint. Formulated with 2% niacinamide, this body wash helps to regulate oil production without stripping the skin. It also works to promote a healthier skin barrier.

Haus Labs Color Fuse Glassy Blush Balm
This summer, I’m all about stick blushers and this one from Haus Labs ticks all the boxes. Originally created as a skincare serum stick (yep, over 70% of its ingredients are skincare to help hydrate), it packs a punch of vibrant pigment for a glassy-but-still-natural-looking flush of colour.

The Ordinary Squalane + Amino Acids Lip Balm
The skincare experts at The Ordinary have done it again. While its unique packaging makes for a good photo opp, you’ll be even more pleased with what lies inside. Unlike thicker, occlusive formulas, this lip balm has a more watery texture. Its hero ingredient, squalane, works hard to provide immediate hydration, while a blend of amino acids helps to seal in that moisture. It makes for a brilliant cuticle treatment, too.

Beautyblender Limoncello sponge
It may not be a new innovation or formula, but Beautyblender’s Limoncello sponge is doing wonders for my make-up bag. The same bouncy texture we know and love, it gives my foundation a smooth finish. But best of all, the bright yellow limoncello shade adds a vibrant pop of colour to my morning make-up routine. It also makes it easier to find at the bottom of my make-up bag.
Aussie SOS Super Serum
With the ever-changing temperatures, my hair has been left dry and damaged, which is where this bottle steps in. Simply rub a coin-sized amount between your palms and the formula will turn into liquid. Run it through damp or dry hair and leave it in. It’ll work quickly to smoothen our ends, leaving them hydrated and softer.
The Inkey List Hydrocolloid Invisible Pimple Patches
My skin has been experiencing a lot of painful breakouts recently, so I was relieved when these spot stickers dropped on my desk. They’re laced with hydrocolloid to help draw out the gunk in your spots, while salicylic acid, succinic acid and ectoin help to reduce redness and prevent skin drying. Plus, they’re ultra-thin, so barely detectable on skin.
Shop The Inkey List Hydrocolloid Invisible Pimple Patches at Cult Beauty, £9
Clarins Lip Oil Balm
Big news for fans of Clarins’ iconic Lip Comfort Oil: the brand has taken the formula we know and love and created a lip balm version. With a formula made up of 99% skincare, this balm hydrates, nourishes and protects lips. Plus, it comes in six shades for a subtle wash of colour. It’s the perfect summer lip product.
Revolution Beauty Icon Palette in The True Icon
It’s so rare to come across an eyeshadow palette where you’d happily use every colour, but this is one of them. Its 12 shades offer an endless number of looks, making it the perfect palette to pack for a holiday, wedding or festival. Plus, it’s super-affordable.
