Each month, Stylist’s beauty director discovers an array of new launches across skincare, haircare, fragrance and make-up. These are the ones she keeps going back to.
After a long, drawn-out January, February came and went in a flash. But despite it being the shortest month in the year, it wasn’t short of beauty launches. Over the last few weeks, the Stylist beauty desk has been buckling under masses of new product formulations, forward-thinking packaging and innovative ingredients. And there have been some exciting discoveries along the way.
From a hair cream specifically designed to undo the brittle, crunchy finish of air drying to one of the most intensive body lotions I’ve ever used, many of this month’s launches worked hard at bringing solutions into our routines.
February can be a difficult month, and there were lots of launches that brought warmth and comfort, including Amouage’s incredible Essences collection, a series of perfumes that undergo a fascinating double infusion process, and L’Occitance’s new sun-inspired diffusers.
Want to find out more? Here are the products I tried, tested and loved in February.
Best beauty products that launched in February 2025
Victoria Beckham Beauty Eye Wardrobe
Palettes are making a huge comeback within the beauty world, and one that immediately caught my eye is this from Victoria Beckham Beauty. Available in four colourways, each compact contains four shades that can be used to create any eye look, from a subtle wash of colour to a full-on smoky eye. The textures are so buttery; they blend on easily with a brush or dip your finger in for maximum pigment pay-off.

By Terry Rouge Opulent Lipstick
While you probably shouldn’t judge a beauty product by its packaging, I’ll admit I let out an audible gasp when I came across this. Thankfully, the lipstick formulation inside lived up to its gorgeous gold exterior. These bullets deliver high-level colour at first swipe, but thanks to added raspberry seed and goji berry extracts, they don’t drag, dry or crack on lips.
Amouage Outlands Essence de Parfum
A higher-end perfume, yes, but Amouage’s new Essences bring incredible innovation into the world of fragrances. Each perfume undergoes a strict six-month ageing process which involves a double infusion with sandalwood chips and then oakwood barrels, creating something deep, long-lasting and special. My favourite is Outlands; ambery and woody, it contains notes of zesty lemon, patchouli and amber for a scent that’s cosy, fresh and spicy all at the same time.

Fenty Gloss Bomb Stix High-Shimmer Gloss Stix
If you’re a fan of Fenty’s Gloss Bomb Stix, I’m pleased to report that the brand has now launched a shimmer version. Still packed with nourishing ingredients like shea butter and squalane, this formulation delivers a high-shine shimmer, thanks to multidimensional pearls. It’s comfortable to wear and doesn’t become a magnet for hair in the wind.
Living Proof Style Lab Air-Dry Styler
Have you ever left your hair to air dry and felt it leaves your hair feeling a bit brittle? Living Proof has created its Air-Dry Styler to tackle just that. It contains a blend of clay, waxes and proprietary emollients that coat the hair to keep it smooth and shiny. Bentonite clay ensures you don’t lose your texture; instead, this helps to define it.

CeraVe Intensive Moisturising Lotion for Very Dry Skin
I haven’t stop using this since I first tried it. The skin experts at CeraVe have created its most hydrating, nourishing and soothing lotion yet. It contains 5% hydro-urea, ceramides, hyaluronic acid and shea butter to treat dryness, tightness, redness and flakiness. It also does a great job of protecting your skin’s barrier. If you experience really dry skin, it’s a must.

L'Occitane Ambre Cade Home Diffuser Set
Spring may be around the corner, but if you’re ready for summer, bring the smell of sun-drenched settings into your home with L’Occitane’s diffusers, all of which harness ingredients from Provence. My favourite, Ambre Cade, has notes of elemi (a tree native to the Philippines), lemon and cedarwood. Rich but cosy and warm.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dewy Flush
Glow Recipe has created the ultimate glowy, natural-looking blush. The formula melts into skin and the edges are easy to blend for a seamless finish. Bringing in the brand’s knowledge on skincare, it also contains 5% niacinamide and watermelon extract to ensure skin doesn’t dry out.
Shop Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dewy Flush at Sephora, £22
Jo Malone London Taif Rose Cologne Intense
Yes, another fragrance, but one I can’t stop sniffing. Jo Malone has created a perfume based on the Arabian rose, but this isn’t rose in the way that you might expect. It is inspired by the Arabian damask rose that sits in the sun-drenched foothills of the Taif mountains and is infused with notes of amber and coffee that make it rich and complex. Once you smell it, you won’t be able to stop.
Shop Jo Malone London Taif Rose Cologne Intense at Cult Beauty, £112 for 50ml
The Ordinary Multi Active Delivery Essence
The Ordinary has brought out its first skincare essence, and I was intrigued to try it. While essences are something I don’t incorporate into my skincare routine often, this one really worked at softening my skin and leaving it feeling bouncy and hydrated ahead of make-up application.
Shop The Ordinary Multi Active Delivery Essence at SpaceNK, £10.60
Cetaphil Gentle Clear Pimple Patches
My skin has experienced a lot of breakouts this month due to a hectic schedule, not much sleep and harsh central heating. So I was excited to see these come across my desk. They’re nearly invisible on the skin, and after leaving them on overnight, I noticed spots were reduced in both size and redness come morning.
Shop Cetaphil Gentle Clear Pimple Patches at Boots, £8.50 for 24 patches
