The skincare guru answers your questions

We were recently joined for alunchtime masterclass with Liz Edlich, co-founder of anti-aging beauty line Radical Skincare.

Liz and her sister Rachel Edlich created Radical Skincare in 2011, with the aim of addressing their aging needs in a natural and healthy way and transforming the landscape of anti-aging.

Their knowledge of skincare was informed by their childhood; growing up, both sisters worked in their internationally renowned father’s lab in the burn unit of the University of Virginia Hospital. This experience helped shape their understanding of what could be done to dramatically change the appearance of the skin.

Liz previously worked as a private investment banker and strategic business consultant and brought her extensive experience of capital sourcing, product development and market strategy to Radical Skincare.

From the start Liz wanted her focus and funds to be centred on the contents inside the “bottle,” not the packaging. The sisters, along with a team of chemists, worked on developing a products they would feel good about using themselves.

The result, Radical Skincare, is stocked in high-end department stores and selective perfumeries around the world such as Harrods and Space NK in the UK, Barneys in New York and Le Printemps in France, as well as in countries including Belgium, Australia, Dubai, Russia and Singapore.

This web chat has now finished but you can read all the questions posed to Liz and her replies in the comments section below.
