This week's lunchtime masterclass is with Carrie Green, founder of the Female Entrepreneur Association.
Carrie started her first online business, Easy Mobile Unlock, at the age of 20. Within a few years she had taken it global, selling throughout the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and Europe and receiving over 100,000 hits on the website every month.
She started the Female Entrepreneur Association (FEA) in February 2011 as a project to find like-minded women and garner inspiration, having felt isolated running Easy Mobile Unlock from home.
The stories Carrie publishes on FEA tell the journeys of the good times and the bad times of different women in business - she hopes that they will inspire others amid a recent downturn in the numbers of female business owners.
There are now over 18,000 women involved in FEA and it has garnered widespread media coverage in its drive to end isolation among businesswomen.
Carrie is now two years into her second business, Simply Telecoms, which provides services to businesses. She is also a business mentor for the Prince’s Trust and an ambassador for Start Up Loans.
