Stylist's Beauty Assistant answered your questions

Anita Bhagwandas, Stylist's Beauty Assistant, joined us for a live web chat on Friday 11 May.

After writing The Changing Face of Beauty, a piece on ethnic beauty and why the industry needs to change, Anita was overwhelmed by the response from Stylist readers, with countless tweets, comments and emails about how her writing struck a chord. So she's agreed to join us for a live web chat this Friday at 12pm, to answer your questions on product recommendations, trends, application tips, and all things beauty.

Although she's Stylist's beauty expert, Anita's journalism career started off in music at the age of 15, where she wrote for local music magazines in her native South Wales. However, after a post-graduate Journalism degree and work experience on a range of music titles, Anita decided Women's magazines were her calling, working for Top Sante before arriving at Stylist almost a year ago. She also writes a monthly beauty column on darker skin for the Guardian, and has written for other national titles.
