Described at the Oscars of the east coast of America, the Met Gala is one of the year's most star-studded affairs. This year it celebrated the opening of the exhibition "Impossible Conversations: Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada" with over 800 guests hosted at the Met Costume Institute in New York and a musical performance by Lana del Rey.
