A host of well-heeled stars flocked to central London last night (12 February), braving icy temperatures to celebrate the very best of film in Britain and beyond. Actors including Penelope Cruz, The Help's Viola Davis, Michelle Williams and Meryl Streep descended in time-honoured celebrity style on the Baftas red carpet, to the cheers of hundreds of waiting fans.
