On a particularly unproductive Monday afternoon, we stumbled across this adorable illustrated fashion tumblr – which combines cute animals, and designer threads to genius effect.
Created by illustrator Heather Pieske and Midwest Style founder Jeffrey Kieslich, Wear This To That is just as cute and clever as that other furry fashion tumblr we fell in love with – Fashimals, which imagined some of the industry’s most respected figures in animal form.
Like the greatest of Tumblrs, the concept is delightfully simple and a tad ridiculous – it pictures various members of the animal kingdom, and imagines stylish options for their various social engagements. And their outfit choices seem to make perfect sense. A rat dressed in an Isabel Marant shirt for a trip to a bingo hall? Why not? A pygmy goat wearing Miu Miu glitter booties to an outlet mall? But of course.
As the Tumblr is in its infancy (with only six posts so far), much fun was had imagining what the next entries will be - may we suggest a giraffe in a Missoni headscarf for a winter sun break to St Barts? A bulldog in a Paul Smith suit and Church's brogues at the office party? A micro pig in Acne booties for a long Sunday walk?
