Iconic British label Mulberry has revealed its highly anticipated Spring Summer 2013 collection in a selection of underwater-inspired images.
Shot by top fashion photographer Tim Walker, Mulberry's 'Awakening in a Dream' campaign shows pixie-featured Meghan Collison lounging in an almost Disney-like pastel underwater setting to showcase six new designs.
The bags are matched with the Canadian model's sharply tailored outfits, ranging from soft leather capes, geometric floral trouser suits and delicate 50s style shift dresses.
The brand's Willow Tote, described as "a beautiful yet common-sense structured bag with elegant clean lines and timeless appeal" was first launched on the Spring Summer 2013 catwalk and is pictured in three colours in the shoot.
Georgia Fendley, Mulberry Brand Director, said: “The images showcase some of our strongest catwalk looks and the season’s key bag silhouettes.”
Ronnie Cooke Newhouse, who directed the shoot, said: "Mulberry campaigns always tell a fantastical story. The Spring Summer 2013 campaign is located in a kind of lunar landscape below the sea...in a world that almost exists but may be more of a beautiful dream."
