Video: Topshop Nail Art on Film

Watch Topshop’s cool nail video

Since it launched 3 years ago, Topshop’s make-up line has gone from strength to strength, from the bold and beautiful collaboration with Louise Gray, to the creative nail art accessories like easy to use polish pens and glitters (a stylist.co.uk personal favourite).

In fact, the ‘nail’ category is one of the beauty brand’s best-selling areas – no surprise when you consider the explosion of creative nail art online, in salons and on the catwalk. We’ve had everything from furry nails and peculiar shapes, to patterned nail art with pens – and the trends look set to continue well into the new season.

So to celebrate the commercial success of Topshop’s nail line and showcase the new collection for SS13, Topshop have partnered with cult video makers Sadie and Jo, to create this cool and quirky stop frame animation video.

Described by Kate Phelan, Topshop Creative Director as "fresh, innovative” and capturing “the spirit of the Topshop Make Up Nail Collection”, Sadie and Joe’s super short film shows the huge range of nail shades available now at Topshop (the metallic hues and pastel shades caught our eye), and has got us excited about the soon-to-come nail products in the SS13 line - like the Peel Off Nails launching in February. With highlights including a full rainbow of nail shades blooming into one flower, we think it’s as charming as Chanel’s tap dancing nails video.
